District #118 Technology Policies: Installation


Software Installation and Licenses

All software purchased by District 118 for staff computers will be installed by the IT staff. Licenses for District-purchased software are maintained by the IT Department.

Before software is purchased, staff must contact the IT Department for approval. The IT Department will review the software to ensure it is compatible with IT systems and that it is enterprise level software that is deployable. Once the software is approved and purchased, IT staff will install it.
